What is checked

This tool queries public DNS for address, nameserver, MX, SPF, DMARC and CAA evidence. It samples a small list of common DKIM selectors and tests HTTPS and www behavior. The result shows the actual returned MX, SPF and DMARC values, so you can distinguish a missing record from a configured record that still needs provider-specific review.

How to read the result

An absent MX record matters if you expect inbound mail. A domain with no published SPF or DMARC deserves review if it sends email. A p=none DMARC policy can be an intentional early step while you examine legitimate sending sources; do not tighten it blindly. Common DKIM selector checks cannot prove a provider-specific selector is absent. Review the exact provider instructions before changing records.

Manual verification and limits

DNS answers and caches can differ over time. This tool does not send or receive mail, validate all mail authentication flows or inspect provider logs. Do not interpret a missing CAA record as a failure; it is optional. A website can be reachable to visitors while one automated HEAD request is treated differently by a firewall. Record the fetched evidence and verify any important production change with the registrar or mail provider.

Save evidence of a fix

A completed check is saved to this browser's workspace, where you can view the snapshot or run it again. Export the result as JSON or CSV for a release record. Browser snapshots do not trigger automatic monitoring, and clearing browser data removes them.

Common questions

Can the tool verify email deliverability?

No. It inspects public configuration signals. Send a real test message and check delivery, authentication results and the provider dashboard separately.

Does this tool make changes to my website?

No. It reads public information and shows what was observed. Review the next step before changing site or DNS configuration.
