Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information NewSiteCheck processes to provide website audits, monitoring, Agency features and related communications.

Website scans

NewSiteCheck processes website addresses submitted for analysis and publicly accessible technical information such as HTML, HTTP headers, robots.txt, sitemap files and sampled links. Saved scan reports are designed to expire after approximately 90 days.

Browser workspace and checklist

Focused tool results, checklist progress and guided-fix readiness markers may be saved in local storage on your device so you can compare or export them later. This local history is separate from a NewSiteCheck account and is not synchronized between browsers. You can remove individual snapshots, clear the workspace, reset checklist progress, or clear browser data. Focused tool requests still send the submitted URL to NewSiteCheck for processing; basic operational logs and aggregate tool events may be processed as described below.

Monitoring data

If you request monitoring, we process the email address you provide, website domain, monitoring status, scan history and related service identifiers. Confirmation and management links contain random security tokens and should be treated as private.

Billing

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. NewSiteCheck stores identifiers and status information needed to connect Stripe purchases to service access, such as customer, subscription and checkout identifiers, plan and billing status. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Agency features

Agency workspaces may store client website labels, groups, tags, branding preferences, scan history and client-report share links that you create.

Business outreach

NewSiteCheck may use publicly available business contact information to share a relevant website report or service information. Outreach records include suppression and opt-out information so requests not to be contacted can be honored.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare to host and operate the service, database, scheduled monitoring and email infrastructure, and Stripe for payment processing and billing management. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Operational data

We may process basic request, security and error logs to operate the service, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems. The scanner is designed for publicly accessible website information and does not request website passwords.

Your choices
